叶问次子，1936年生于佛山，十二岁开始随父习武，1962年赴港定居后继续随父深造，并长期担任叶问拳馆助教。1973年开始在香港伊利莎白医院詠春班任教。并常年应邀到英国、荷兰、美国等地举办詠春拳讲座，传授詠春拳技。美国《真功夫》、英国《正气》、《COMBAT》等世界著名武术杂志都对他出色的武艺作过报道。2002年，加拿大全国武术联会为他颁发了“终身成就奖”。

          The second son of the Grandmaster Ip. He was born in Foshan in 1936, he started to learn Wing Chun since 12 years old. He continued learning Wing Chun from his father after migrating to Hong Kong in 1962; he also taught in the Ip Man’s school as an assistant for a long term.Ip Ching started to teach Wing Chun in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital since 1973. He is always being invited to give talks and to teach Wing Chun in the U.K., Netherlands, the U.S. and other places. Ip Ching was being interviewed and reported by famous martial arts magazines including the U.S. “The Kungfu Magazine”, the British “Zhengqi” Magazine, the Combat Magazine and others. In 2002, Ip Ching received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian National Wushu Federation.
